Ryan Letzeiser is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Obie, which he founded in 2017 with his brother Aaron to make insurance work the way real estate actually operates. Under his leadership, Obie has grown into a platform that has secured more than $60 billion in coverage and written over $300 million in premium for real estate investors, agents, and partners nationwide. Ryan came to insurance from the buying side. He spent his career in real estate private equity, where he bought and sold more than $1 billion in real estate assets across residential, office, retail, and industrial sectors. Every one of those transactions needed insurance, and the repeated frustration of that process is what Obie was founded to fix. He has since raised over $40 million in equity for Obie and hundreds of millions in debt and equity for real estate investments and funds. His extensive experience in the industry has shaped the lens for how Ryan leads the company: he evaluates Obie's products the way an investor closing on a property would, where speed, transparency, and certainty of coverage are what actually matter.
