Aly Gromak-Pfister is the Director of Agency Development at Obie, where she leads the team responsible for helping independent agents succeed on the platform. Her scope covers agent onboarding, education, and the ongoing partnership work that turns a new appointment into a growing book of landlord business. Aly has spent more than a decade in insurance distribution, nearly all of it focused on agents themselves: recruiting and onboarding new agencies, consulting established ones on growth and retention, and leading sales teams across the captive, insurtech, and independent channels. Before insurance, she practiced law, an experience that shaped how she navigates the regulatory and compliance realities agents work within every day. She holds a JD and the Financial Services Certified Professional designation. At Obie, her focus is the agent experience end to end, from first appointment through the moments that matter, like navigating a hard market or bringing a new product into an agent's workflow.
