Co-Founder & COO

About the Author

Aaron Letzeiser is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Obie, which he founded in 2017 with his brother Ryan to fix a problem they experienced firsthand: a slow, opaque process for securing insurance for real estate investment properties built for a different era. As COO, he oversees the operations behind a platform that has secured more than $60 billion in coverage for real estate investors, agents, and partners nationwide. Aaron's background is in building things that solve real problems. Before Obie, he founded and scaled several ventures, including The Medical Amnesty Initiative, a public policy nonprofit he started while still a studentthat earned him a place on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. He is also a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, where he invests in early-stage companies pushing the proptech and insurtech industries forward. Aaron is an active real estate investor himself, which means the friction Obie removes is friction he has personally felt. That firsthand perspective shapes how he thinks about everything from coverage design to the claims experience: insurance should work the way real estate actually operates.
